The Road Home

This painting was created from a desire to explore movement within a landscape setting. At the time, I was reflecting on the history of the motorbike and the relationship between rider and machine and how they represent journeys, freedom, solitude, and the search for somewhere beyond the familiar. From these ideas, this piece was created to capture not only the physical movement of the riders as they travel through the landscape, but also the unseen passage of time and the fleeting moments that shape our journeys through life.
