This painting was created as a simple representation of the peace, balance, and stability that can be found through a life lived in closer connection with nature. At the time of creating this piece, I was exploring the history, traditions, and relationship with the natural world held by Indigenous peoples of the Americas, and this exploration had a profound influence on the work. The painting reflects my interpretation of harmony, stillness, and the connection between humanity and the world around us.
